Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Bakersfield. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Bakersfield is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Bakersfield is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food is absolutely delicious. If you're looking for something sweet and a little different, this is a place to stop at. It is Carnival style desserts they have too many options to choose from. I get something different every time I go. The seating is outside so if it's super hot it gets a little uncomfortable but they do have water sprayers to cool everyone down. The parking lot is very rough. Lots of holes in it but tons of room when it gets very busy and the food looks exactly how it's decorated in the pictures. It's great! Definitely unique and good next to a main road. So if it's around rush hour it does get a little loud

The food has been great. It just takes long. If you order there, some ppl don’t know how to order quickly, it can be frustrating and when ppl want to pay cash it’s a wait to order. I get anxious easily so it’s best to just order and pick up unless you don’t mind waiting the 30-40 minutes. It’s rare if I ever get something under that. Other than that the food is exceptional.

I visited this spot and overall had a really good experience. The atmosphere was nice and made it a great place to relax and enjoy something sweet. The only downside was that ordering was done entirely on a tablet, which made it a little difficult to make adjustments or customize items the way you might want. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility there. That said, the desserts were SO good—definitely the highlight! Everything tasted amazing and made the visit totally worth it. I’d still come back just for the desserts alone.

Bakersfield……. If you’ve ever been here, you’ll end up here at least once more in your life. Most people are probably fine, but I think I might have a curse because I was born here. ANYWAY, this was the second established I’ve dined in since moving here (again 😒). I actually went here a couple of days ago but I was too busy to review so I was looking back at the pictures and reminiscing. I haven’t been around town much yet, so I wasn’t sure about going around town at night alone but I took a chance. As for the safety aspect of the area, I think it was fine-ish. I wouldn’t go again that late at night. The parking lot is dirt and it’s shared with a couple of other businesses and a food truck. I liked the atmosphere of the place itself; it was cozy and fun and there were plenty of people. Also all seating is outdoors, and you order on a kiosk. FOR THE FOOD: yum. I got a strawberry cup with cheesecake bites and cream, and beignets. I’ve never tried beignets before, but they were so so yummy. For the cup, I actually let it melt too long so it wasn’t at its peak but it was still so yummy. Honestly I don’t think it was that expensive for the price of most special desserts these days.
